Owner-Operator Opportunities at CRC Transport

CRC Transport offers qualified drivers the opportunity to purchase a truck and work as an owner-operator within our fleet. This program is designed for experienced 9-car hauler drivers who want to move toward truck ownership while continuing to work with stable freight, dispatch support, and an established operational structure.

To qualify for this program, drivers must first work as a company driver with CRC Transport. Applicants are required to have a clean CDL, at least 12 months of experience operating a 9-car hauler, and a TWIC card. If you do not currently have a TWIC card, CRC Transport can assist with the process of obtaining one.

As an example, Truck #40 has a total cost of $180,000. The required down payment is 25–35% of the total amount, and the remaining balance must be paid off within 1.5–2 years. Under this structure, 12% of gross revenue goes to the company monthly.

Earnings, Schedule & Fleet Support

Owner-operators can expect an estimated weekly gross of $10,000 – $15,000, depending on routes, volume, and operational performance. Payments are issued upon request via ACH and are processed within one week. This opportunity is offered under a 1099 structure.

Available schedule options include 3 weeks on the road and 1 week at home for OTR operations across the 48 states. Drivers living near Baltimore, MD; Chicago, IL; Jacksonville, FL; Vance, AL; Chattanooga, TN; or Texas may have the opportunity to get home weekly, depending on available lanes.

CRC Transport provides strong operational support, including dispatch available 7 days a week, 24/7 maintenance support, IFTA stickers and permits, fuel discounts at Pilot, Flying J, Love’s, TA, and Petro, tire and repair discounts, as well as PrePass, I-Pass, and BestPass.

Orientation, Deductions & Requirements

Orientation takes place at our Pensacola, FL yard and lasts 4 days, with accommodation provided. New drivers are accepted every Monday, allowing for a consistent onboarding process.

The monthly deductible structure includes liability, cargo, and physical insurance at $2,311.72, accidental occupational insurance at $140, optional TVC subscription at $30, and safety expenses at $250. Samsara camera equipment is also part of the safety and compliance setup.

A separate device for work applications is required. This helps ensure that drivers can properly use CRC Transport’s digital workflow tools, communication systems, dispatch updates, and compliance-related applications while operating within the fleet.
