Electrical / Diagnostic Technician Position in Pensacola, FL

CRC Transport is hiring an Electrical / Diagnostic Technician for our heavy-duty truck shop in Pensacola, Florida. This is a full-time position for a technician with hands-on diagnostic experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with modern truck electrical, emission, and control systems.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow in advanced heavy-duty truck diagnostics, ECM/module programming, software updates, and complex electrical troubleshooting.

Position Overview

As an Electrical / Diagnostic Technician at CRC Transport, you will perform advanced diagnostic and electrical work on heavy-duty trucks. The role involves working with modern fleet systems, reading wiring diagrams, retrieving and interpreting diagnostic trouble codes, and supporting repair decisions with accurate technical information.

You will work with systems and platforms including PACCAR, Cummins, Volvo, ABS, CAN J1939, DPF, SCR, NOx, and transmission systems.

Requirements

CRC Transport is looking for a detail-oriented technician with practical diagnostic experience and a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems.

Candidate Requirements

1–2 years of hands-on heavy-duty truck diagnostics experience
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical service manuals
Experience retrieving, interpreting, and clearing DTCs
Strong attention to detail
Accurate work order documentation
Fullbay or similar shop software experience is a plus
Ability to work with electronic control systems and diagnostic tools
Strong problem-solving skills and a responsible approach to repairs

Schedule & Location

This position is based at the CRC Transport Pensacola Terminal in Florida.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Every 2nd Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
